Halloween is coming! If you’re hosting a Halloween party, check out this article for easy, cheap adult Halloween treats to serve to your guests. These treats all use affordable ingredients you can buy at your local grocery store.

Spider Web Brownies
These spider web brownies are easy and quick to make and will give your dessert table a case of the creepy-crawlies. To make them, buy a box of brownie mix at the grocery store. Make sure you read the back of the box to see if you’ll need any additional ingredients to make the base for this sweet Halloween treat. Make the brownies according to the instructions on the box and let them cool. Using powdered sugar and water, make the frosting for your brownies. Instead of completely covering each brownie with a layer of frosting, drizzle it over the top to resemble spider webs. Let the frosting harden before you serve.

Halloween-ified Rice Krispie Treats
Rice Krispie Treats are one of the cheapest, easiest treats you can make any time of year. For Halloween, simply add candy corn, gummy worms, or Reeses Pieces to the mixture to give your treats that October flair. If you want to give them an even Halloween-ier feel, use Cocoa Puffs, Cocoa Crunchies, and Captain Crunch to make orange and black rice krispie treats.

Halloween or Candy Corn Jello Shots
This adults-only Halloween treat is cheap to make and stretches your alcohol further than regular shots. To make the alcoholic Jello, cook the jello according to the instructions on the package. Before the jello sets, add ½ cup of cold water and ½ cup of vodka. Then chill to solidify. To make your jello shots Halloween themed, make a batch each of orange jello, black jello, and purple jello and layer them in your shot glasses before chilling.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ghosts
There’s no more decadent dessert than chocolate covered strawberries. This twist on the classic makes your strawberries into mini ghosts with personality for a sinful Halloween treat. Buy strawberries, white chocolate, and mini chocolate chips at the grocery store. Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler and then dip each strawberry in the chocolate. Drag each strawberry as you place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet to give the ghost a little tail. Then, while the chocolate is still wet, place two mini chocolate chips as the ghost’s eyes and one as the mouth. Chill until the chocolate is set.
