Set Payment Reminders

One of the biggest contributing factors to having a great credit score is making your credit card payments on time. In order to ensure that you are making your payments on time you should setup payments reminders. Some banks offer payment reminders through their online portals. They may even be able to send you emails or texts notifying you when your next payment cycle is. Even if your bank does not provide this type of tool, a simple reminder on your calendar or phone can also assist you in making your payments on time.

Reduce the Amount of Debt You Owe

This does not mean that you have to reduce all of your debt in one giant swoop, but rather pick away at it until it is completely diminished. Make it a priority to make some sort of payment towards you debt with each payment.
